hi, all. i know it has been FOREVER since i have posted anything and i am not even sure that anyone will even remember that i have a blog. so for those few faithful friends and family, i am sorry it has been so long. i will try to update the happenings of my life to the best of my memory.
wow, so where to start???? well, i only have 5 more weeks until i have a baby girl in the house. WOW!!! i went to the doctor yesterday and he laughed at me. he said i must be in a race for "biggest baby of the year"!!!! yikes!!! not sure i wanted to hear that! he asked when my last ultrasound was and when we realized it was at 20 weeks, we scheduled on for december 3. his exact words, (read while you are laughing to get the full effect) "i am really curious to see just how big this little girl is!!!!" AHHHH, nothing like an OBGYN with a sense of humor! i really am blessed though because i have the BEST Dr. in the world. i wish i could refer EVERYONE to him. and quite frankly, who cares how big she is... i am having a c-section so i won't have to "pass" her!!! ha ha. levi is very excited for baby sister. Iby Dace. that is what he is calling her. He name will be Ivy Grace. My maternal grandmother's name was Ivy and i have always wanted to name my little girl that. grandma passed away when i was in 2nd or 3rd grade and i only have a few memories of her. i remember her being VERY funny. she "seemed" really tall (maybe not i was just little and MY mommy is only 4'10ish so could gram really have been THAT tall????) she played the piano and we would dance around and jump all over when she would play. she also had really long arms and legs, once again, all in perspective, and she would run around with her arms up and say, "poison ivy, poison ivy is going to get you." so those are the best memories i have of my grandma Ivy. i am sure if the baby is anything like big brother she will live up to the name.
let's see... what else. i am not even going to comment on the recent election. all i have to say is now we have a newly elected president, we need to support him and stop all of the nonsense and emails that are saying such horrible things about him. we need to remember that he is a father of two small girls and those little girls will hear what is being said. we need to pray for the family and i am hoping for the best. not a lot we can do now.
i just got back from the dr with Levi. he has a double ear infection. UGH!!! he had several the first year of his life but has not had one since last december. well, happy birthday levi. poor guy.
we got our first snow the other day. it is still on the ground and i couldn't be happier. i love the snow.
so that is our life in looneyville. we are pretty consumed with getting things ready for baby ivy and trying to get big brother levi to be excited. i feel great, just ready to be done with the whole thing, and bobby is super excited for a little girl in the house.
until......

So good to hear that everything is well with the baby. Ivy Grace is a beautiful name, I love it! So, Talon was a 9 lb. baby (and yes, I "passed" her... with no drugs, too!), so you'll have to let me know how much Ivy weighs!! Keep blogging... I'm a faithful reader!
